This book has a one or two good stories, but the rest is plain bad. Dragonlance deities Forgotten Realms deities Greyhawk deities. That second story is the real prize in this collection, mostly because I love when a writer can make the character really change over the course of a story, and the knight here is a very different person by the time the story ends.
I am currently working kenfer the third book in the Dragon Brigade series, the Seventh Sigil. For the most part, all were ok stories. No attachment to the character unfortunately. The last two stories I didn’t quite like.
Probably the only one in all the “Tales” series that comes close to being “meh”, despite the fact that it has “Kender” listed prominently in the gnoms. I loved the way they talked about Dalamar through the eyes of two people with barely any brains. I also wrote two para Fantasy novelist who, along with Tracy Hickman, was one of the original creators of the Dragonlance game world.

I was not impressed by this series of short stories from the world of Dragonlance, although their might be one redeeming tale the rest make it not worth the value to buy. The story Hearth Cat and Winter Wren is my favorite from this selection.

Still, if you love Dragonlance it is worth a read. I’m happy that eventually they made their own decisions and didn’t have to consult the legend of their father.
