So if your a freshman you should be the first high schooler to read this book. And her little brother was protective and was worried about revenge.
A tragedy happens to Devon. This story actually happened a few years down the road after The Hoopster.

It seemed unnecessary yop exaggerated, but it grew more fitting as the story played out and as the main character, Teresa Anderson affectionately known as T. I want to love these books Tee wants to try to get into USC.
Then, everything changes when a new man comes into Theresas life: The character should great transmission from being to end keeping her part the way it is. The way the conflict was solved i dissagreee to it because Cee kept the baby.

And than she lost Cee Saw and than found her again. There is friendship, betrayal, fights with parents, feeling misunderstood, and love. I didn’t really care that much for Theresa “Tee-Ay” Anderson. Time is running out for both of them. Which was, when the narrator continually kept saying the words for SAT, after almost every word she described out of her mouth. When your older sibling does is so well-respected, it is expect that you also be above the average. It kept me sitomerr and not a good book for little kids and some teens.
Hip-Hop High School by Alan Lawrence Sitomer (2006, Hardcover)
It cant get no more simple than that. In addition to a realistic yet inspiring plot, Sitomer’s use of Laawrence words, descriptions of SAT strategies, and overview of the college admissions process were ingenuously done.
I really identified with Tee-Ay.
Devon, whose tough-guy reputation conceals a blazing ambition for academic success. The book has had some strengths to it which made it interesting.
With her parents and her teachers always on her case, and her best friend pregnant and dropped out of school, Theresa turns to hip-hop for comfort. What I like about this book is that it talks about really, an ordinary girl in high school with a regular life. The theme most prominent in this book is that of perseverance alsn will to succeed in the world against all odds. On her way through that she has problems.
Well she hangs out with Cee-saw the most. And her brother wants schoo.
Tee lives in a bad neighborhood populated by a majority of African American community. Which have put them into a lot of bad situations like getting a zero on a test, kicked out a their home, and having a baby.
